IP addresses are not linked to your personally identifiable information. (However, if you provide us with your Nickname during an Online Chat session, we may link this Nickname to your IP address in order to identify you upon repeat visits to the site(s) and provide you with personalized service.) The data we collect about the pages you have viewed is limited only to pages within our site(s) and the address of the referring page, if any. (A referring page is the page that you used to click-through to our site(s).) We may also use the above information to send you an Online Chat invitation, which you will have the option to accept or reject. We may also log the movements of individual visitors to ClientCenter so that we can properly compensate companies whose products or services may be included in ClientCenter. Cookies A cookie is a piece of data stored on your computer that is tied to information about you. We may use persistent cookies on our Homepage to assign you a Visitor ID Number. This Number links you to the information described in the previous section (such as the pages you have viewed) as well as your Nickname (if you provide one during an Online Chat session). The Visitor ID Number is primarily used to identify and track repeat visitors to our sites, so we can understand what portions of our sites best serve you and provide personalized service. The Number does not by itself include any information about you or your visitor history, but rather serves as a link to this information as it appears in our database. If you do not wish to be identified upon repeat visits to our Homepage, you may disable cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to view our Homepage or participate in Online Chat sessions. You must have cookies enabled in order to use ClientCenter. We use session ID cookies in ClientCenter to uniquely identify your user session after you log in, track usage as customers move through the application, and expire inactive session data. No Private Data or Billing Information is contained within the cookies, and all cookie data is automatically deleted when you log out of ClientCenter, or remain inactive for a certain period of time. Links Our web sites contain links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by our web sites. Online Chat If you choose to participate in an online chat session, we may retain copies of the chat session transcript for use in improving our products and services or for other marketing and customer support purposes. As detailed above, we may also use Cookies to store certain information that allows us to identify you upon subsequent chat sessions or visits to our site(s). Customer Service & Service Announcements We communicate with you on a regular basis to provide requested services. If you submit questions or comments about your account, we will reply via email or phone, as appropriate. On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service-related announcement. For instance, if ClientCenter is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications. Security WireSpring takes reasonable precautions under current technology to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information (including Billing Information and/or Private Data on ClientCenter) we attempt to protect this information, both online and off-line, with the same methods that we use to protect our own proprietary data. ClientCenter session data is protected using 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. Services Provided by Third Parties We may contract with third-parties to provide certain services on our site(s), including online chat and visitor monitoring. We cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of these companies. However, to the best of our knowledge these firms are committed to protecting the privacy of any information that they collect about you on our behalf. Notification of Changes If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post a link to the updated version at the bottom of our Homepage and on the login area of ClientCenter, so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under which circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner materially different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify you by way of an email and you will have a choice as to whether or not we use your personally identifiable information in this different manner. |
