Bill Gerba | CEO

As one of the original architects of the FireCast suite, Bill Gerba is responsible for WireSpring's strategic direction, including the ongoing evolution of the product line. He is very active in the digital signage and self-service kiosk industries, and maintains the popular Dynamic Digital Signage and Interactive Kiosks Journal. Mr. Gerba has been featured in numerous publications and serves on key industry committees, including POPAI's Digital Signage Education and Advocacy Groups. Throughout his career, Mr. Gerba has focused on how technology can be used to improve the effectiveness of marketing and advertising initiatives. Prior to WireSpring, he founded and operated a successful media production company. Mr. Gerba also served as an analyst for the financial advisory firm Evensen Dodge, Inc. and worked in the marketing division at Computer Associates (NYSE: CA). He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University.

Jeremy Zaretzky | President

Jeremy Zaretzky manages WireSpring's general operations, with a focus on ensuring world-class customer service and technical support. Mr. Zaretzky has been an entrepreneur since 1994, when he founded the graphic design company ImagePro. In 1996, ImagePro evolved into MacBrilliance, a successful firm focusing on personalized computer instruction for individuals and small businesses. He also served as an analyst for Kaplan Asset Management, where he gained expertise in financial analysis, investment screening, private placements and options theory. Mr. Zaretzky graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from Duke University.

Michael N. Smith | VP of Sales and Marketing

Michael Smith is in charge of WireSpring's sales and marketing efforts, including relationships with channel partners. Mr. Smith has 24 years of experience in the high performance computer business. He began his career in 1977 at GE, advancing through numerous positions until joining Harris Corp. in 1992. At Harris, he led the Secure Business Area Team and introduced the highly successful firewall, Cyberguard. When the business merged with Concurrent Computer Corp. in 1996, Mr. Smith became VP of Marketing at Concurrent, where he created and managed the successful Video-On-Demand division. Mr. Smith holds an engineering degree from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from Stetson University.

Advisors

John Edelson

John Edelson has 20 years of experience in the high tech and consulting industries. Mr. Edelson is president/founder of Time4Learning.com where Homeschool students learn reading & math online. Mr. Edelson was instrumental in the turn-around of Argonaut, a 100 person diversified entertainment and technology company in London. He managed it for three years, reversing its slide and achieving both high growth and profitability. He also spun out ARC Cores, a semiconductor company, from Argonaut. As senior vice president, Mr. Edelson helped grow ARC from 10 to 300 employees. Both ARC and Argonaut are now traded on the London Stock Exchange and are thriving. Mr. Edelson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard University.

Harvey Engel

Harvey Engel brings with him more than 47 years of experience as an entrepreneur and consultant in the point-of-purchase display industry. He founded and served as President of Trans World Display Corporation, handling in-store marketing strategies for a variety of national brands. In 1990, Trans World formed a strategic partnership with POP Displays International, the market leader in point-of-purchase advertising. Mr. Engel continued to work with POP as a consultant until retiring in 1999.

Richard Nicolosi

Richard Nicolosi has spent over 30 years in the consumer products industry. As CEO of Samsonite Corporation (1996-1998), Mr. Nicolosi led the company from net losses to consistent profitability, while increasing the stock price from $10 to $40 per share. He also served as Chairman of Samsonite from 1998 to 2000. Previously, Mr. Nicolosi was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Consumer Products for Scott Paper Company. In his tenure with Scott Paper, he helped increase margins and ROI while doubling operating profits to over $700 million. Prior to Scott Paper, he spent 23 years at Procter & Gamble.

Richard Tortora

Richard Tortora is Founder and President of Capital Markets Advisors, LLC, which provides advisory services to various municipalities, authorities and districts throughout the Northeast. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Evensen Dodge, Inc. and Vice-President and Manager of The Bank of New York's financial advisory service. Prior to working in financial services, he was an Associate with the Wall Street law firm of Hawkins, Delafield and Wood.

Ezra Wohlgemuth

Ezra Wohlgemuth has worked in the Information Technology industry for nearly 30 years, gaining substantial expertise in enterprise-level systems integration, distributed computing, e-commerce, web hosting, and database technologies. He is currently President of IT Consulting Solutions, Inc. with previous positions including VP and CIO at International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF), Senior VP and CIO at Marsh & McLennan, VP of Corporate Technology Strategy at American Express, and Senior VP of Systems Design and Development at Dun & Bradstreet.
