ADCENTRICITY Raises $3 Million Series A Investment

Published on: 2015-02-05

EarthTimes has a story on the successful capital raise:

ADCENTRICITY, Inc. ("ADCENTRICITY"), a North American Digital-Out of-Home ("OOH") Media Sales Network, has raised CDN$ 3-million of Series A equity financing in a transaction lead by Propulsion Ventures, a subsidiary of Telesystem.

The Toronto-based company will use the funding to substantially increase its sales presence throughout North America, increase the depth of its network partnerships in its existing and new verticals, and invest in supporting research with partners and media / advertising Agencies.

Our take:

The market is actively looking for the type of solution that ADCENTRICITY hopes to build, namely media buying and planning services across a consolidated group of digital out-of-home signage networks, however as the company's founder has noted at times, the amount of manpower needed to establish a suitable network and grow it through additional partnerships is not insignificant. We're happy to see that they have the necessary capital to continue their growth in the meanwhile, and look forward to seeing how they are able to facilitate deals between networks in the future.
