What are digital signage and kiosks?

Digital signage

Digital signage refers to displays of various sizes that show advertising, news, etc. in a corporate or public setting. Examples include airport flight displays, outdoor digital billboards, and in-store advertising screens.

Interactive kiosks

Interactive kiosks are self-service terminals that provide access to information or services in a public venue. Some examples are touchscreen gift registries, airport check-in kiosks, and instant credit kiosks.

How do we fit in?

Our FireCast OS software provides the "platform" for kiosks and digital signs, much like Windows provides the platform for most desktop computers. Then, our ClientCenter remote management system allows you to control all your devices from a web browser. That way, you know immediately if a system isn't working properly, and new content can be delivered worldwide in a matter of minutes. For customers who want a turnkey digital signage package, we also sell a media player called the FireCast Media Appliance.

While our focus is on software and media player hardware, our resellers and strategic partners can help provide displays, field installation and content creation services to bring your vision to life.
