If you want a reliable and hassle-free solution, we recommend using FireCast OS with the IBM Anyplace Kiosk for interactive kiosk projects, or with the FireCast Media Appliance for digital signage. Otherwise, you can start with the information below.

Displays and Video Cards
- Standard monitors (4:3) or widescreen displays (16:9) can be used, with either a VGA, DVI, or HDMI connection
- Your monitor must support 1024x768 resolution for installation, but the system can run at lower or higher resolutions after that
- For 4:3 display, virtually any video card or built-in video adapter can be used
- For widescreen 16:9 display, you will need an Nvidia, Matrox, ATI, or Intel video card
- For portrait (rotated) display, you will need an Nvidia or Matrox video card
- For multi-head display, you will need an Nvidia or Matrox video card

- Dial-up modems (external serial only)

Wireless and Powerline Networking
